Some new updates on my diff cover, over at Dave's (Monster) getting some custom treatment before coating in silver with black painted font. Got some nice anodised bolts too, just to make it stand out a bit more The sump plug has a magnet to pick up any bits and they sent 2 by accident, so good for a spare. Powder coated, black paint in font and ready to fit.

Few issues with the standard Supra diff cover being weak and cracking under pressure, so a nice new billet cover that's as strong, well stronger than the cast casing itself will sort that problem out. Truly will be a bomb proof diff then! Additions of oil cooler pump ports added too (currently being made and finished off) Some anodised examples... Mine is on the way with something more special done

Just loved this! Wonder who's the quickest A bit of a clunk had developed in my Supra diff, so I decided to finally get Bara Motorsport to check it out and rebuild it, along with a Weir Performance stage 1 MAXGRIP kit. On inspection, the usual backlash issues with Supra diffs had come to light on mine, but everything else was completely immaculate considering its age. Crush sleeve was replaced along with a couple of seals, but the bearings were spot on (which are about 250 a set ) The original breaking point sat at 40 lb/ft which isn't really good, but after fitting the new kit, its now a good 97 lb/ft. Shouldn't be able to make 1 wheel spin anytime soon There's various other kits available for the kit, but a little extreme for road/track use. More suitable for full on drifters who take the cheaper option of welding their diffs. A little about the kit from the States http://www.weirperformance.com/maxgriplsdkits.html

Ventured over to Porsche specialist Ninemeister in Warrington today to sort out the geometry on my 6 degree beam and rose jointed TCA's. Cracking setup there and the car responds very well

Long overdue update, also bought a fiesta as my new daily. Will lower it on some 16" Lenso's Got my new Corbeau Club Sport seats this morning. Cracking seat, pretty much identical to Recaro SPG's at only £300 for the pair. Bargain! :top: Wheel alignment booked tomorrow with Robin Taylor, the ex-F1 engineer that setup Senna's F1 Lotus back in the day

So who's going then? We're bringing a few high profile cars from the UK, so hopefully it'll help the reputation to expand a little of the show

    European Ford Event 2014

Forgot to post my report................ What a cracking weekend! Its not the same scale that Ford Fair is, but more and more people attend each year to help keep it alive since 1991 and a few cars from the UK continue to go to help support. Plus its a good excuse to get some guaranteed sun, beer, a look around some unusual styles of cars and more importantly....reasonable food and drink prices at the show ground, unlike Silverstone! Nothing massive to report like my previous Gatebil thread etc, as its a fairly simple run from start to finish and to arrange. There's various ways of getting to the show, which is situated in Venray, Holland (around 2 hours from the Nurburgring). Some take the ferry from Harwich to the Hook of Holland, where its around 1.5 hours drive to Venray. But for a good run out in our cars, most take the Chunnel which takes 3 hours from Calais. We decided on this route. We stayed at Hotel Asteria from Friday to Sunday, which hosts a lot of benefits. Its 5 miles away from the show ground, is situated around some amazing driving roads, has a Mcdonalds across the road () and an epic jet wash a few meters up the road that seems to last forever on 4 Euros. The whole trip is very reasonably priced throughout, so I hope more people can attend next year. I'll let the pics do the talking (stolen most of the pics from other sites). I'm pleased to say that one of the group, Mark (Cab2Cos) won the Concourse competition at the show :top::top::top: Our cars... Cleaned and checked over before the road trip... A bit of handy advertisement comes in handy... Some hotel carpark banter snacks ready... A nervous Jim Gibbs before boarding the Channel Tunnel On route... Arrived at the hotel a little later than planned, having hit the Friday traffic at the Anwerp Ring Checking the car over on arrival

Yeah, Twins is a good bodyshop guy. His Escort has many custom additions that don't look stupid like so many cars, he's a bit of a genious
